Sex and Sexuality

Think about this....more than 41 percent of high school students in North Dakota have engaged in sexual intercourse, according to the statistics for the 2005 Youth Risk Behavior Survey released November 1.  In light of statistics such as this the collaboration between Project A.C.E. and its partners has provided a linkage for the members to "join their peers in the community to address high-risk issues".  Additionally statistics regarding sex and sexuality for high school students in North Dakota continue to be an eye-opening experience for parents and family alike, for example:

• 11.3 percent have had sexual intercourse with four or more people during their life.  That number goes up to 18.9 percent for 12th graders.
• 32.4 percent have had sexual intercourse with one or more people during the past three months.
